About this service

What Is School-Based ABA Therapy?

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is an evidence-based therapy that helps children build meaningful skills and reduce behaviors that get in the way of learning. With school-based ABA, a trained therapist supports your child at school, following a plan written and supervised by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). We work alongside your child's teacher so strategies stay consistent across the day. We work in all school settings.

Benefits Of Therapy At School

  • Help in the moment. Support is there when a challenge comes up in class.
  • Learning with classmates. Social skills are practiced with the children your child sees every day.
  • Smoother transitions. Children get help moving between activities, rooms and routines.
  • One approach. Home and school use the same strategies.
  • Tools for teachers. Staff get practical ideas they can use right away.
  • Growing independence. The goal is for your child to need less support over time.
