Home-Based ABA Therapy
Our home-based services bring therapy directly to your child's natural environment, allowing skills to be taught where they are used most.

What Is Home-Based ABA Therapy?
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is an evidence-based therapy that helps children build meaningful skills and reduce behaviors that get in the way of learning. With home-based ABA, a trained therapist works one-on-one with your child in your home, following a plan written and supervised by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). We work closely with families to support communication, social skills, daily living skills, emotional regulation and independence. Kids First serves children and adolescents ages 3 to 21.
Benefits Of Therapy At Home
- A familiar setting. Your child learns where they feel most comfortable.
- Real routines. Skills are practiced during the moments they are needed: mealtimes, getting dressed, bedtime, play.
- Family involvement. You see what your child is working on and learn the same strategies.
- Siblings included. Brothers and sisters can take part in play and social goals.
- No travel. Therapy comes to you, on a schedule built with your family.
- A plan made for your child. Every goal is chosen for your child and adjusted as they progress.
Who It Is For
Home-based ABA is a good fit for children working on communication, daily living skills and behavior at home, and for families who want to be closely involved. If your child would benefit from time with peers, ask us about Clinic-Based ABA.
